Value Connect saw a stressful process mired in constant fee change requests, missed deadlines and inaccurate reports. They believed the only way to improve the industry was to do something about it, and in developing a significantly better appraisal management system, the team at Value Connect created a complete productivity suite.

Solution
Sandbox worked with Value Connect to build their custom software - the Smart Appraisal System. The platform anonymously connects brokers, mortgage loan officers, and underwriters with the local market understanding and expertise to experienced, accredited appraisers. Appraisers can then build out their report(s) in the tool itself. It can rapidly generate Quality Control Reports and supports video to encourage well-balanced reporting (by showcasing positives and deficiencies of a property). The Smart Appraisal System has built-in validation tools for error mitigation, support compliance and provide better data insights.
Outcome
Value Connect's custom built Smart Appraisal System allows lenders to easily manage the entire appraisal process and eliminate the need to deal with Appraisal Management Companies, while meeting regulatory and investor requirements. The user-friendly tool provides branded and concise reports. Lenders and loan representatives love the increased borrower satisfaction and funding ratios that result from its use.
