Sandbox’s experience in creating user-centric websites lends itself well to developing web properties for municipal organizations. Cities, townships, libraries, and other local government organizations are seeing an ever-increasing demand from their residents for modernized websites that support two-way communication, supply up-to-date information and promote the local area.

When partnering with Municipal organizations, Sandbox works hard to first understand their unique challenges and goals. Our designers produce custom creatives for every new project, aligned with the Municipal brand.

Some of our previous municipal projects have included:

  • Modernizing websites through contemporary responsive design and up-to-date technology
  • Reducing bloated website page counts from thousands to just a few hundred
  • Integrating websites with multiple third-party tools and systems that the Municipality is already leveraging
  • Developing corporate intranets to engage with employees and support collaboration.

Project Spotlight

Kitchener Public Library (KPL) is more than just a place to borrow a book or movie, it’s a community hub offering programs and services to all. Working with Intent and the Library, Sandbox built an innovative new website that reflects KPL’s connection with the Kitchener community.

“The Sandbox Software staff are very professional, approachable, quick to respond, and always happy to answer questions and offer assistance.”
